Job summary

Milwaukee Valve Corporation in Prairie du Sac, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor (Dept 270) to lead the maintenance team in the PDS Facility. The role is salaried-exempt with hours from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

and some scheduling flexibility based on production needs. Under the Maintenance Manager, you will direct maintenance personnel, review work orders, assign tasks, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 4 years maintenance experience.
• Experience in work order systems and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform basic algebra/geometry calculations.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and ensure that all work schedules are met.
• Organizes and assigns work.
• Supervises skilled and semi-skilled employees performing major repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Anticipates maintenance and personnel problems and resolves them to minimize production impact.
• Ensures safety issues are addressed and solved.
• Completes maintenance personnel reviews in a timely manner.
• Other duties may be assigned.
