Job summary

Parallel Employment Group is seeking a dedicated 2nd shift Junior Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and facilities in Racine, WI. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe, operational facilities.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical mindset, attention to detail, and can work independently or as part of a team. Requires 2nd shift (3:30 PM–11:30 PM) with some weekends; bilingual is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC’s a plus.
• 2 to 3 years of proven maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours (3:30 PM - 11:30 PM) and some weekends.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on a variety of equipment.
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls from other departments.
