NWPX Infrastructure is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift in Salt Lake City. You will perform mechanical and preventative maintenance, diagnose diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and general plant equipment, coordinating with other maintenance and production staff.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of maintenance experience; reading blueprints and basic computer skills are needed. Shift has a $2/hr differential and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
• 1–3 years of production/manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Must read blueprints, diagnose and repair mechanical systems.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate or modify equipment and assist in project work with maintenance and plant staff.
• Maintain and repair power equipment including forklifts and manlifts.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Inspect fire and water systems and cranes; ensure safety programs.
• Read blueprints and operate basic plant tools to support production.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager on assigned projects.
