Job summary

PLA, headquartered in Dallas with extensive U.S. operations, is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for its Salt Lake City site. You will perform facility and equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks under guidance from senior staff to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The role requires 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, electrical knowledge, and welding experience. Expect a Monday–Friday evening shift with strong growth potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in industrial/warehouse/manufacturing settings
• Basic electrical knowledge; certifications a plus
• Welding experience (arc/MIG) preferred; certification a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Vocational/trade school training or equivalent on-the-job experience preferred
• Basic 24V DC wiring; ability to read simple schematics
• 120V/240V wiring, troubleshooting and repair
• Basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge
• Familiarity with production tools (Sawzall, air nail guns, screw guns, electric motors)
• Basic computer proficiency to process PMs, logs, and emails
• Mechanical troubleshooting with a drive to grow into higher levels
• Self-starter, teamwork, safety-focused attributes

Responsibilities

• Perform facility and equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks
• Support production uptime and safety through adherence to PM schedules
• Work under guidance of senior technicians and Plant Manager
• Read and interpret schematics and electrical/hydraulic diagrams
• Contribute to safe and efficient operation of equipment
