Job summary

Eaton Group’s Westminster, MD facility is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for the 2nd shift to maintain production equipment and facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance, reading schematics and documenting work in CMMS.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of maintenance experience, and basic electrical, mechanical, and safety knowledge. A valid driver's license and ability to lift and move heavy items are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CMMS.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet ITAR-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and intermediate maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Complete work orders and log maintenance in CMMS.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and safety programs.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of machinery.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as directed.
