Westlake Chemical is seeking a 2nd shift maintenance technician to repair and maintain assigned machinery, ensuring adherence to company safety rules and procedures. The role emphasizes reliable operation and safety compliance across a production environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, installation/rebuilds, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs and building maintenance. Some travel to troubleshoot and source parts may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or post-high school technical training or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years tearing down and rebuilding presses.
• 2+ years with tooling and dies.

Responsabilités

• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery per schedules.
• Install, rebuild, and repair a wide range of machines as directed.
• Troubleshoot and determine extent of repairs.
• Travel to troubleshoot and source materials as needed.
• Instruct and assist lower-level mechanics as required.
• Follow safety policies among maintenance staff.
• All other duties as assigned.
