Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support site goals. You will perform varied maintenance tasks, preventive care, and quick repairs during production, while reading manuals and work orders and using a CMMS to log history.

The role requires adherence to safety requirements, ability to lift heavy items, and flexibility to address emergencies and routine maintenance across manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing with mechanical skills or completion of a mechanical trades program.
• Electrical maintenance experience is a plus.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication and filter changes.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders; document results.
• Work with CMMS to input maintenance history and review BOM parts.
