Job summary

Grand Hyatt Denver seeks a General Maintenance Engineer for 2nd shift to handle general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces and public areas. The role requires timely response to room calls and strong guest service focus.

Candidates should have technical experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or related trades and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Shift is 3pm–11:30pm with weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Technical experience in a related field or trade (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering).
• Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Two to three years of previous hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house areas.
• Respond to guest room calls in a timely manner and provide exceptional service.
• Perform mechanical repairs in kitchens, mechanical spaces and building exteriors/interiors.
• Communicate effectively and stay motivated during lower call volume periods.
