Job summary

Precision Custom Components, LLC is seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3:30pm-11:55pm) at the York, PA facility. You will supervise the machining department, train hourly workers, and ensure quality, budget and production targets are met.

You will coordinate planning and direction of machine shop activities, read blueprints and GD&T, and work with ERP and MS Office to maintain efficient operations. US Citizenship is required at hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or trade school diploma is required.
• Completion of apprenticeship or related postsecondary education preferred.
• Three to five years of manufacturing experience, preferably in machining.
• Verifiable supervisory experience leading teams in machining.
• Excellent computer skills; able to use ERP and MS Office.
• Able to read blueprints and GD&T; strong leadership and people skills.
• Must be able to supervise associates in a unionized environment.
• US Citizenship is required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities in the machining department for the shift.
• Plan, coordinate and direct manufacturing activities to meet quality and production targets.
• Train hourly workforce and ensure adherence to safety and company objectives.
