Precision Custom Components, LLC is seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor to manage the machining department at our York, PA facility. This on-site role reports to the site manufacturing leadership and ensures production goals are met with quality and safety at the forefront.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a machining environment, strong leadership, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office tools. This role supports 1st shift and requires responsive, hands-on management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or related post-high school education preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably PCC-like.
• Verifiable supervisory experience leading teams in a machining environment.
• Excellent computer skills are required; capable of working with ERP and MS Office.

Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking an experiencedMachine Shop Supervisor to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA.

This position supports 1stshift 7:30am-3:55pm.

The Machine Shop Supervisor will supervise the daily activities associated with the manufacturing machining department. This includes supervision and training of hourly workforce to meet required quality, budget and production standards in the department/shift to which the supervisor is assigned. This position is concerned with the planning, coordination and direction of the manufacturing activities or quality assurance activities, in the manufacture of shippable product and tooling in order to assure compliance with contractual requirements and Company objectives.

Essential Duties of the Machine Shop Supervisor:

The Machine Shop Supervisor will supervise the daily activities associated with the manufacturing machining department. This includes supervision and training of hourly workforce to meet required quality, budget and production standards. This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and direction of the machine shop activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company objectives.

Education/Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or other related post-high school education preferred.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably one similar to PCC.
• Verifiable supervisory experience leading teams in a machining environment.
• Excellent computer skills are required.
• Must be capable of working with ERP systems and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must have a working knowledge related to the manufacturing functions being supervised.
• Must be able to read blueprints and have GD&T capabilities.
• Must be a self-starter and must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and skills.
• Must be people oriented in order to develop good supervisor-employee relationships.
• Must be capable of effectively supervising associates in an atmosphere where the associates are represented by a collective bargaining unit.
• US Citizenship is required at time of hire.
