Job summary

Cleveland Steel Container, a producer of steel pails, is seeking a 2nd shift Machine Operator / Press Operator for the Streetsboro facility. The role involves setting up and operating the manufacturing machine, performing routine verification and preventative maintenance, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of manufacturing machine experience, strong communication, and teamwork skills in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year manufacturing machine operation experience.
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to work well as a team.
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Manufacturing Machine.
• Complete verification procedures and preventative maintenance weekly and monthly.
• Maintain housekeeping around the machine and area.
• Adhere to all safety requirements during setup, operation and maintenance.
• Maintain tools for setup, operation and maintenance of the machine.
• Be trained in material handling and forklift duties.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure efficient operation.
• Support Manufacturing Manager with additional duties as required.
