Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm, Mon–Fri). You will operate manual and automated machinery, perform preventive maintenance, set up production equipment, and ensure quality products for our customers.

This role requires 3+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong safety awareness. You must be able to lift up to 65 lbs and work well in a team, with opportunities for growth and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in trades specific to job requirements or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Working knowledge of safety principles, such as lock-out/tag-out.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods and stand for long periods; lift up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation and components to detect malfunctions.
• Operate equipment to meet quality, cost and schedule requirements.
• Notify management of production, safety, or environmental concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of production area and complete daily production forms.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning.
