Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great Shipper/Fulfillment Associate position available in Hazelwood, MO. This is a 1st shift role with wage of $18.00 per hour and the opportunity for hire.

You will pick, pack, and prepare customer orders, verify accuracy, and operate shipping software. The role requires reading work orders, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds; prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous warehouse or shipping experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents.
• Basic computer skills and shipping software experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks; lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Verify order accuracy against work orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Package printed materials and products according to customer specifications and carrier requirements.
• Operate shipping software and generate shipping labels for common parcel and freight carriers.
• Palletize, wrap, and stage shipments for carrier pickup.
• Assist with kitting, assembly, and fulfillment projects for promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet customer and company standards.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production and customer service teams to meet customer deadlines.
• Support special projects and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a printing, packaging, or fulfillment environment.
• Knowledge of shipping processes and warehouse best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
