Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a production operator in Johnstown to operate and monitor high-speed lines, move materials, and ensure product quality. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.

Applicants should be able to lift 20–45 pounds repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work 2nd shift (2pm–10pm) with potential extended hours. PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience with high-speed production lines preferred.
• Ability to lift 20-45 pounds repeatedly.
• Experience with pallets and packing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency
• Move materials and finished products to maintain flow
• Ensure package and product quality
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean equipment and work area before/during/after shift
• Maintain clean work area through housekeeping
• Expedite repairs with maintenance as needed
• Keep daily downtime and operation records
• Collaborate in a team-oriented environment
• Maintain regular attendance
