Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking an Entry Level Machine Operator for 2nd shift in Carroll, IA. This paid training role supports learning to set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts under supervision. Mon–Fri 2:00pm–10:00pm with possible weekend overtime.

You will learn blueprint reading, machine adjustments, quality testing, and manufacturing documentation while working toward certification within about 120 days, with overtime and weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Learn how to set-up and operate machinery according to standard work.
• Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Follow established standard work to obtain certification within 120 days.
• Understand and follow quality testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to set-up and operate machinery.
• Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect products using precision gauges and measuring instruments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions.
• Support and follow rules set by EHS, Quality, and CI; participate in safety and CI activities.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends and some holidays.
