Job summary

SP Industries Inc. in Pocomoke City, MD, is seeking a Machine Operator for our 2nd shift to assemble desiccators and pipette pumps, test the completed units, and pack them for shipment. This is a full-time position with schedule Mon-Thu, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and some manufacturing exposure is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some manufacturing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Removes molded products from the molding machine and inspects parts.
• Performs basic size inspection using gauges or fixtures.
• Packs finished parts into master cartons.
• Operates regrinding/inspection on other parts as needed.
• Maintains production statistics and reports to Lead Operator.
