Job summary

LiDestri Foods in Rochester, NY is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM). You will safely operate production machinery, perform setups and changeovers, and ensure product quality while following sanitation and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience.
• PPE required including cap, hair net, ear plugs and gloves.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Use of various hand tools as required.
• Forklift experience.
• Lock out/tag out certified.
• Continuous improvement and team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery with setup, operation, changeovers and troubleshooting.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery.
• Execute SOPs for equipment in area.
• Cross-train on equipment as defined by manager.
• Manage raw materials into work orders.
• Work safely following company rules.
• Maintain good attendance per policy.
• Report food safety and quality issues to responsible personnel.
