Job summary

Atkore in Kokomo, IN is looking for a Machine Operator to operate machines, receive orders, and perform cutting, bending, swaging, or punching per customer specifications and packaging by bundle or box. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and emphasizes safety and quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience is preferred. The position is on-site for 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:00am) with possible overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to distinguish cosmetic flaws and ensure quality.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to cut, bend, swage, or punch parts per orders.
• Receive and interpret manufacturing orders and pack per requirements.
• Adhere to safety rules and lean 5S practices.
• Set up skids and bundles; perform quality checks on OD, gauge, length.
• Communicate with supervision and maintain standard work.
