Job summary

Safetec of America, Inc. is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Buffalo, NY. The role involves operating and maintaining packaging or manufacturing machines on a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am) with a shift differential and competitive benefits.

Two or more years in manufacturing are preferred; candidates must be detail-oriented, able to lift 35 lbs, and have good communication. You will work with a team to ensure smooth production and quality control.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work is a must.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull using a pallet jack.
• Ability to reach and bend frequently.
• Ability to go up and down ladders.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanical ability.
• Ability to work well with others.

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

Responsibilities

• Ability to detect equipment malfunctions or misalignments visually and by listening to the machine's noise
• Operating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining machines
