Job summary

Penmac Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable Machine Operator in Union, Missouri for a second shift. The role involves operating machinery, moving raw materials to final packaged goods, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on a Mon-Fri schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Weekly pay and health insurance start on day one. Primary duties include operating equipment, assembling parts, trimming and cleaning parts, labeling, packaging, and maintaining production quality.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one or small groups to customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and move raw products to final packed product per safety/quality standards.
• Assemble parts, trim and clean parts, count, label, package, and wrap products.
• Maintain quality and quantity goals within production processes.

Pay Starts: $18.00

Hiring 2nd shift

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 3pm 1130pm

Machine Operator Duties:(Other duties may be assigned)

• Primarily responsible for performing all functions move raw products produced by a specified machine to the final packed product as specified with safety, quality, and quantity goals satisfied by performing the following duties.
• Operates machinery, assembles parts, trim and clean parts, count label, package, and wrap products.
• Maintains quality and quantity goals.

Machine OperatorQualifications:

• Perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Read andcomprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, andmemos
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one groups/small groups situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add and subtract two-digitnumbers
• Multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
• Ability to perform these operations using American money and weight measurement,volumeanddistance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Machine Operator Environment:

• Regularly exposed to working near moving mechanical parts
• Frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration

• The noise level in the work environment does not require hearing protection but the PPE is available for employees to use if they wish.
• Summer months require working in hot temperatures up to 10 degrees hotter than the outside temperatures.
