Job Description

A Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machines used for manufacturing finished goods. Machines operate at rates from 100 to over 250 units per minute. The environment is fast-paced, requiring attentiveness and quick reactions. Responsibilities include operating machines and other duties outlined below.

Additional Information

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm

$1.00/hr Shift Premium

Eligible for performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, FSA, disability, retirement, paid leave, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment following work orders and PPE guidelines.
• Operate various machines such as box formers, drop packers, tippers, fillers, palletizers, depalletizers, labelers, etc.
• Perform changeovers as required.
• Maintain reports on hourly monitors, SPC, ISO, equipment downtime, etc.
• Dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as instructed by supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with machinery in manufacturing.
• Experience operating packaging equipment like robotics, fillers, case packers, labelers.
• Experience monitoring quality of raw materials or finished goods.
• Experience with material-handling equipment.
