The Machine Operator will perform a variety of standard operations to produce welded wire mesh and meet production schedule requirements, all while adhering to quality specifications. Responsibilities include:

1. Working from specification sheets, job orders, and instructions.
2. Setting up manufacturing processes, ensuring equipment speed and temperature are within prescribed levels for various wire sizes and types.
3. Determining necessary materials based on production specifications and ensuring process tanks are filled appropriately.
4. Selecting and installing correct wire for production runs.
5. Operating equipment, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and quantity.
6. Performing minor maintenance and upkeep of line equipment.
7. Reporting issues and ensuring proper tagging of products.
8. Using tools such as skimming/drossing tools, Uni-shear or splice tools, hand tools, and electrical power tools.
9. Maintaining records and moving materials as required.
10. Detecting and reporting equipment malfunctions or unusual conditions.
11. Keeping work areas clean, safe, and orderly, following safety rules and regulations.
12. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2-5 years of experience or mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, organized, and maintain a clean work area.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, physical stamina for standing, bending, twisting, and moving heavy materials.
