Job summary

Hood Container Corporation in Covington, KY is hiring a Machine Helper for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30pm–2:00am with overtime). Starting pay is $18/hour plus $1/hour shift differential. You will help produce corrugated products from start to finish, supporting multiple industry customers nationwide.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of work experience in a manufacturing operation.
• Prior work around manufacturing machinery.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions from supervisor.
• Work with crew as a helper to support production.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Maximize piece-rate speed on assigned tasks.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Cross-train for other positions as needed.
• Complete reports including Production Data, Safety Data and Quality Data.
• Submit equipment work orders for needed repairs.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest optimizations.
• Read a tape measure.
