Job summary

Hood Container Corporation is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Covington, KY to operate corrugated manufacturing equipment and ensure quality production. You’ll set up and run corrugator, rotary die cutter, or flexo folder gluer, maintain a safe, clean work area, and collaborate with a team to maximize uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience operating corrugated industry equipment.
• Strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of work.
• Team player to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate either Corrugated Equipment, Rotary Die Cutter, or Flexo Folder Gluers.
• Inspect and monitor production runs to meet quality standards.
• Maximize machine uptime and productivity.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Immediate Openings on 2nd Shift (3:30 pm - 1:00 am) Mon - Thurs, with OT on Fri.

What You'll Do:

• Safety first: Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Master our corrugator or converting equipment: Set up and operate either Corrugated Equipment, Rotary Die Cutter, or Flexo Folder Gluers in the production of corrugated boxes.
• Ensure quality: Inspect and monitor production runs, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.
• Drive efficiency: Maximize machine uptime and productivity.
• Continuous improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
