Job summary

Hood Container in Louisville, KY is seeking a Machine Helper for the 1st shift (Mon-Thurs) with required OT on Fridays as needed. This full-time role supports corrugated production from start to finish for local and national customers in various industries, contributing to efficient packaging solutions.

The position requires reading and following instructions, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior corrugated industry experience preferred.
• Prior fulfillment operation experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions on factory masters.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow supervisor instructions.
• Work with crew as a helper.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Maximize piece-rate speed on assigned tasks.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Cross-train for other positions as needed.
• Complete reports: Production Data, Safety Data, Quality Data.
