Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Bedford Park, IL is hiring for a role that serves as the first point of contact for delivery drivers on 2nd shift. You will coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure accurate shipping and receiving documents, verify counts in the WMS, and log cash as needed.

The role requires basic math, strong communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in cold storage or hot environments.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills may be required at some facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers; English may be required.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing PPE.
• May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• May receive, count and log cash received by carriers.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure documents are completed accurately and timely.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in system.
• Notify carriers and team members of pending, no shows and unscheduled arrivals.
• Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary.
• Enter data into the WMS scheduler.
