Job summary

UNIS Transportation is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers for our LTL/FTL Division in Buena Park, CA. The role focuses on safe, timely transport of non-hazardous freight with both local pickups and deliveries within our network.

You will operate both automatic and manual transmission equipment, adhere to DOT regulations, and maintain a professional standard of service in a fast-paced environment. Competitive $29.00 per hour, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience.
• LTL/FTL experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles in local pickups and deliveries preferred.
• Must be comfortable operating both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Acceptable MVR and DOT/Safety driving record.
• No DUI's or major driving violations.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, vehicle inspections, and safe driving practices.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver non-hazardous LTL and FTL freight.
• Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries to customers, distribution centers, and terminals.
• Operate assigned commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate both automatic and manual transmission equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Properly secure and transport freight.
• Complete required delivery and transportation documentation.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and operations regarding deliveries, delays, and other issues.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Follow all DOT regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work environment.
• Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Position Summary

UNIS Transportation is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers to join our LTL/FTL Division.

This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of non-hazardous freight, including local pickups and deliveries within our transportation network. Drivers will work with consistent freight volumes and must be comfortable operating different types of equipment and working in a fast-paced transportation environment.

The ideal candidate is a dependable, safety-focused professional driver with previous LTL/FTL experience who is comfortable operating both automatic and manual transmission equipment.

Candidates must be flexible with start and end times based on operational and customer delivery requirements.
