Job summary

Colonial Group in Von Ormy, TX, is seeking a 2nd shift Load Builder to support our industrial laundry operations. The role emphasizes safe, expeditious handling of merchandise and building loads according to the daily plan.

You will work 12:30pm–9:00pm Monday–Thursday and 11:30am–8:00pm Friday, with overtime and weekend work as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and reliability is essential to maintain production flow.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Becomes familiar with load sheet and builds loads one day ahead.
• Follows load building guidance and loads in order by weight, size, type, and other specifications.
• Identifies mats that do not meet quality requirements (stains, gum stains, rips, tears, holes, or wet).
• Monitors merchandise not meeting specified quality standards.
• Maneuvers full and empty carts; familiar with safety standards for pushing/pulling carts up to 50 lbs and carts up to 300 lbs.
• Informs supervisor of shortages every two to four increments.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
