Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Warehouse/Laundry Associate to join our industrial laundry facility in Texas. You will work as part of a team to ensure safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise.

Responsibilities include staging carts on lift tables, folding linen and towels, identifying items not meeting quality standards, verifying quantities, and placing bundles in storage. The role requires standing, lifting, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must meet attendance schedule.
• Must speak and understand English to communicate with Supervisor and others.

Responsibilities

• Stage cart on lift table, secure safety chain, and raise the table.
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting specified quality standards in terms of rips, tears, holes, and stains.
• Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Place bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty baskets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and observe best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
