RM Palmer Company, LLC designs, produces, packages, and ships seasonal chocolate novelties. Our products include filled chocolates, solid chocolates, chocolate bars and balls, chocolate cups and coins, chocolate patties, and seasonal products. In addition to their own branded products, the Company co-manufactures both seasonal and everyday products for other large branded companies. Today, the Company operates out of two manufacturing facilities and one distribution facility with ~600 full-time employees. R.M. Palmer Company, LLC has some of the most differentiated manufacturing capabilities in the industry as one of the only companies in the U.S. able to make hollow molded chocolate candy products and multicolor chocolate candy novelties.

The Line Technician is responsible for controlling and monitoring the operation of a chocolate molding line to ensure the entire process is being done in a safe, sanitary and efficient manner.

Line Technician Responsibilities:

• Properly temper chocolate to required standards.
• Set, check, and correct weights and operate the metal detector.
• Assist with and resolve issues on the production line.
• Maintain and document necessary paperwork as required.
• Handle animal feed and proper waste disposal methods.
• Lead, manage, and perform changeover tasks on the line.

Requirements

Line Technician Skills:

• Intermediate computer skills
• Intermediate mechanical skills
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery
• GMP knowledge

Line Technician Experience:

• Previous production/manufacturing experience, previous food manufacturing experience is a plus
• Previous machine operating experience
