Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Lead/Machine Operator for our Kentucky facility to support the Supervisor by coordinating daily tasks and ensuring clear communication to the team. You will monitor equipment, report maintenance needs, and uphold safety policies in a cold, damp environment.

• 6+ months of Lead experience required.
• 6+ months of machine operator experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department tasks and ensure instructions are communicated to team members.
• Monitor all equipment and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Follow Tyson policies and procedures and read/understand manuals, blueprints, plant paperwork and labels.
• Perform physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing 8-10 hours.
