Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a Lean team lead to drive operational excellence on the manufacturing floor. The role focuses on coordinating Lean activities, maintaining safety, and improving product flow across shifts while mentoring teammates.

You will lead MDI board meetings, assign schedules, coach team leaders, and collaborate across departments to resolve issues and lift performance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead others and influence behavior.
• Must be able to perform tasks done by the team supervised.
• Must be able to solve problems, provide feedback, and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Leads MDI board meetings and other Lean-related activities.
• Assigns work schedules and coordinates overtime.
• Ensures the safety of employees and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Monitors the quality of products and work.
• Troubleshoots simple machines, processes, or product, or employee issues.
• Leads and trains team leaders, provides feedback and coaching.
• Frequently communicates with team members, supervisors, and across departments, and with plant leaders.
• Coaches other team leaders.
