Job summary

Quincy Recycle in Green Bay, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Lead Operator for 3p-11p to manage a crew of 5-7 and ensure safe, efficient operation of baler, shredder, and roll cutter. You will train temporary labor and coach on material grading while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience, a High School Diploma, and a strong work ethic with excellent communication. Forklift experience is a plus in our fast-paced recycling facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong work ethic, communication, and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Successful completion of a physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage a crew of 5-7 people.
• Train and motivate temporary labor and build a supportive team environment with a full-time crew.
• Responsible for knowing and coaching others on material grading
• Lead plant safety, maintain a safe plant environment, and maintain compliance with all safety protocol
• Ability to learn and then safely operate all machines in the plant, including baler, shredder, and roll cutter
• Ability to learn and safely operate forklifts and skid steers
