Responsibilities

• Collaborate with shift Front Line Leaders to assign daily tasks to Material Handler team members.
• Take inventory of supplies needed for production daily.
• Use the JDE system to check the online schedule for material requirements.
• Understand the process for placing picks from the warehouse to fulfill Bill of Material needs on all machines.
• Conduct walkthroughs, including daily shift change walkthroughs.
• Coordinate and ensure timely completion of color changes.
• Oversee, conduct, and certify training and development of new Material Handlers on your shift.
• Meet with the Department Training Coordinator to update training progress for material handlers in training.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Rules, ISO, SQF, HACCP, and other policies.
• Access, search, and print documents using CPRO.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Material Handler area, delegating tasks as needed.
• Conduct turnover update meetings with outgoing and incoming Lead Material Handlers.
• Ensure daily scrap is recorded properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Complete pre-shift exercise/stretching activities unless a doctor's note is provided to HR.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Understanding of JDE, DSI, and the overall production process.
• Good work history with reliable attendance.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift approximately 35 lbs safely.
• Ability to squat, stoop, and bend safely to floor level for extended periods.
• Hold a current license and certification to operate a Powered Industrial Truck.
