Job summary

Kaney is seeking a 2nd Shift Lab Technician responsible for assembling mechanical test stands, wiring electrical enclosures, and harnesses. The role includes data acquisition, testing, and helping prepare manuals and test procedures.

The candidate will also assist in delivering products and wiring control boxes, with experience reading drawings and basic MS Office skills. Lean training and soldering/LabVIEW are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience in a similar field.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, sketches, schematics and procedures.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• LEAN manufacturing training is preferred.
• J-STD-001 soldering certification and LabVIEW experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Mechanical test stands
• Electrical enclosure buildup and wiring
• Electrical cable assembly
• Wire routing/installation of electrical control boxes
• Operate data acquisition equipment
• Capture and compile test data
• Assist in equipment assembly, checkout and delivery of products
• Assist in writing manuals and automated test procedures and reports
