Job summary

Ciocca is seeking a hands-on Multi-Site Janitorial Team Lead for the Fort Wayne, IN area. The 2nd shift runs 6PM-2:30AM, and the role includes covering multiple buildings, supporting cleaners, and ensuring locations meet company and customer expectations.

You will train staff, manage tasks, and communicate staffing and supply needs to management. The position is full-time and requires driving between sites, strong attention to detail, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience required.
• Previous team lead, training, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom cleaning.
• Travel between assigned buildings to cover call-offs, vacancies, and additional service needs during scheduled hours.
• Organize daily cleaning assignments and communicate priorities to team members.
• Train new and existing cleaners on duties, procedures, equipment use, and safety.
• Complete walkthroughs to check cleaning quality and ensure tasks are completed.
• Document findings, training, and follow-up actions in company systems.
• Monitor supplies and equipment and request replenishments as needed.
• Follow building procedures for keys, badges, alarms, and securing doors.
• Report injuries, unsafe conditions, and property damage promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with employees, management, and customer contacts.
