Job summary

Ciocca Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a Janitorial Area Supervisor for Fort Wayne, IN on the 2nd shift. The role involves leading a team to meet cleaning standards, conducting inspections, and training staff.

The position requires ability to travel between buildings, pass background checks, and maintain safety compliance. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour with a $300 referral bonus and weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in supervising janitorial staff or similar team.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Customer service orientation to address client needs and feedback.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Proven ability to work well in a team and independently as needed.
• Familiarity with basic janitorial products and safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial staff across designated buildings.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure cleaning standards.
• Train new team members and communicate expectations.
• Monitor attendance and performance of team members.
• Arrange coverage for shifts when staff are unavailable.
• Manage hourly targets for each building to ensure compliance.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Address customer feedback and relay to the team.
• Follow safety regulations and train staff on SDS procedures.
• Maintain building security including alarms and keys.
• Complete team paperwork (training, evaluations, requests, discipline).
• Communicate regularly with janitorial team, operations and management.
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle used during shifts.
