Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Supervisor, IT Network Infrastructure for the 2nd shift to lead technician teams responsible for installing and maintaining mission-critical communication systems supporting production, launch, and ground operations.

The role requires coordinating with engineering and telecommunications specialists, ensuring safe, compliant cable infrastructure, and delivering QA across multiple sites including Hawthorne, McGregor, Vandenberg, and Cape Canaveral.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of telecommunications systems experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technician teams to install and maintain mission critical comms systems.
• Prioritize and schedule work to meet timelines.
• Provide progress updates to project stakeholders.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers on system designs and documentation.
• Interface with external carriers at cross-connect facilities.
• Provide QA and auditing before and after work.
• Maintain installation documentation and asset records.
• Assist in creating installation and workmanship standards.
• Review timesheets and manage overtime.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety requirements.
• Assist in evaluating candidates for team openings.
