Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Supervisor, IT Network Infrastructure to lead the installation and maintenance of mission-critical telecommunications systems across SpaceX production, launch, and landing activities. The role focuses on fiber and copper data networks, video, ground stations, and related systems for Falcon, Dragon, Starship, and other missions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecommunications with at least 2 years in leadership, and must be able to work 1st shift from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecommunications systems experience.
• 2+ years leadership experience (leading teams, projects or people).
• Ability to work 1st shift: Mon-Fri, 5:30AM-3:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technician teams to install and maintain mission critical communication systems.
• Prioritize and schedule work to meet required timelines.
• Provide feedback and progress updates to project stakeholders.
• Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems and perform repairs as necessary.
• Coordinate with other contractors and project teams as needed.
• Interface with external carriers at cross-connect facilities and transition points.
• Review timesheets, manage overtime and time off requests.
• Verify compliance with OSHA regulations and SpaceX safety requirements.
