2nd Shift IT Field Support Technician

Overview

The IT Field Support Technician is responsible for installation, support, inventory enhancement and management of networked and non-networked hardware such as desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, and peripherals. The role also includes problem resolution, troubleshooting, training, and communication with end users in a timely and customer-oriented manner. Assistance with the deployment and maintenance of service level agreements, reporting, and documentation is required. All other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Education

• High school diploma or equivalent Required
• Associate's Degree Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field Preferred

Required Minimum Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience preferred in customer service/IT Support

Required Minimum Skills

• Desktop operating systems, hardware, printers, and peripherals, desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office products), LAN/WAN Connectivity.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer relation skills.
• The individual must be able to communicate and have good team building skills.
