Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking an Inventory Specialist for the Smyrna, TN plant on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm). The role involves maintaining inventory levels, processing purchase orders, cycle counts, and reporting to the shift supervisor. Must be able to operate a forklift, read directions, and handle materials safely in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Hourly pay rate is $22.00 with a $1.00 shift differential. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures and document transactions.
• Record and track shipping transactions using a scan gun.
• Safely operate a forklift and heavy equipment in tight spaces.
• Perform cycle counts and compile inventory information.
• Determine stock supply and consumption rates.
• Collaborate with team leaders on BOM forecasting.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Provide quality checks and report data to management.
