Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is seeking an I&E Maintenance Technician in New Hanover Township, NJ. The technician will ensure that all required tools and parts are available, troubleshoot electrical issues, and participate in maintenance responsibilities. Ideal candidates will bring 3+ years of related manufacturing experience and strong communication skills.

This position requires the ability to work on a 2nd shift and offers competitive compensation starting at $47.09/hr plus shift differentials. The role also supports a variety of benefits for professional and personal development.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work 2nd Shift, Monday thru Friday, from 3:00 PM until 11:30 PM.
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience as IE technician required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for continuous periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tools, parts, and supplies are available for each job performed.
• Troubleshoot electrical or control issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct maintenance care responsibilities and initiate equipment repairs as needed.

Skills

Manufacturing experience as IE technician

PLC, DCS, VFD experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic math and numeracy skills

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalence

2 year technical degree or 5 years industrial work experience
