Job summary

Kelly Services in Hudson, NH is seeking a Plastics Injection Molding Technician for 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) on a direct hire basis. Pay rate is $30–$34/hr, with on-boarding training on 1st shift for 1–2 weeks.

The role involves setting up and running injection molding machines, mold changes, equipment connections, and process adjustments to meet production goals. Strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience changing molds in an injection molding environment.
• Basic understanding of injection molding process and material handling.
• Experience with press shutdown/startup and identifying molding defects.
• Experience with automation used in injection molding.
• Setting up auxiliary and press-side secondary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and running injection molding machines for production of plastic components.
• Removing and installing molds, aligning equipment, connecting water, hydraulics, and air feeds.
• Adjusting machine settings, performing lockout procedures, and purging material as needed.
• Completing tool change reports and production logs accurately.
• Troubleshooting equipment and optimizing processing parameters.
• Providing technical guidance and hands-on support to operators.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment and adhering to procedures.
• Contributing to continuous improvement focused on cycle time and setup reduction.
