Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor in Hudson, NH to lead molding and secondary production lines, ensuring smooth operation and on-time delivery. This direct-hire role requires organizing a team, monitoring performance, and upholding safety standards.

You will oversee timecards, training, and policy implementation, while coordinating with quality and other departments to meet production goals. Strong leadership and ERP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in plastics injection molding or related industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong supervisory and people-management skills.
• Knowledge of production practices, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
• Experience with ERP software (DELMIAWorks preferred).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand molded part defects.
• Machining experience with CNC Lathe and Milling equipment (preferred).

2nd Shift: 2:30pm-12:00am (Monday-Friday)

Pay Rate: $34–$36/hr

What’s a typical day as a 2nd Shift Supervisor? You’ll be:

• Overseeing daily production operations on the molding and secondary production lines, ensuring timely start-ups and smooth workflow.

• Supervising all production activities and staff, maintaining a high degree of visibility throughout your shift.

• Supporting the safety program, proactively identifying and addressing safety issues or concerns.

• Monitoring and reporting on production metrics, material usage, scrap, and downtime; updating ERP systems as needed.

• Coordinating with quality control and other departments to maintain business standards for productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.

• Managing personnel matters including timecards, vacation approvals, overtime, hiring, and training.

• Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all team members.

• Facilitating effective communication across shifts and functional areas.

• Supporting and promoting a safe work environment and ensuring all required safety training is completed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in plastic injection molding or a related industry.

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Demonstrate strong supervisory skills and the ability to motivate and lead teams.

• Possess knowledge of production practices, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.

• Are committed to excellence, able to manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Have experience with ERP software (DELMIAWorks experience is a plus) and are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Understand plastic molded part defects and their causes, and can interpret engineering drawings.

• Bring machining experience, particularly with CNC Lathe and Milling equipment (preferred).

• Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Are a team player who can build relationships at all levels and work independently with minimal supervision.
