Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Romeoville, IL. The role involves hands-on production work with industrial sewing machines and CNC cutting equipment on the 2nd shift.

The position is full-time with a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule, Monday–Friday, and overtime as needed. Experience with ERP systems and RF scanners is preferred, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Experience operating industrial sewing machines.
Experience with CNC cutting equipment or similar manufacturing tools.
Ability to operate RF scanners and basic ERP software.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial sewing machines and CNC cutting equipment to manufacture parts according to specifications.
Use RF scanner and ERP systems to track materials, inventory, and finished products.
Create and apply labels accurately.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Report defects or production issues to the Production Lead or Quality Department.
Move raw materials and finished goods between worktables, conveyors, and machines.
Clean, label, and package finished products.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
Assist with training new and existing team members on production processes.
