Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; technical/vocational education preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of paint experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment, jibs and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

  • Follow a formula to mix paints to proper color, thickness, and consistency.
  • Prep and mask surfaces for touch-up and final paint application.
  • Visually inspect coating quality.
  • Operate material handling equipment to transport product and avoid damage.
  • Follow safety, security and environmental procedures; keep area clean and organized per 5S.
  • Follow procedures for storage and use of Point-of-Use material.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
