Job summary

Smith & Loveless seeks a Coating Specialist (Industrial Painter) – 2nd Shift to join our production team in Lenexa, KS. You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings, and assist with foam insulation of mostly steel parts in a manufacturing setting.

The role supports a 4:00 pm–12:30 am schedule with training on days. Our benefits include comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) with automatic enrollment, and paid time off starting with the first year.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous commercial painting experience preferred.
  • Ability to read work orders and interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Observe safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly.
  • Prepare paint and thin to correct consistency.
  • Mask off areas and paint as instructed, including touch-ups.
  • Operate spray equipment and perform light maintenance on guns and pots.
  • Assist with parts preparation and foaming processes as needed.

Protecting People.” We are seeking a Coating Specialist (Industrial Painter) – 2nd Shift to partner with our experienced production team in this environmentally focused industry.A Coating Specialist (Industrial Painter) – 2nd Shift at Smith and Loveless is responsible for prep, spray paint, and foam insulate miscellaneous parts and products, mostly steel components in a factory setting.This is a second shift position, if hired, the ideal candidate will work 4:00 pm to 12:30 am with a dinner period.
