Job summary

Ascential Technologies in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an experienced painter to prep weldments for priming and finish coating and to apply various surface coatings on parts. This role requires attention to detail and steady hands in a fast-paced shop.

Second shift hours are 3pm–1:30am. You will maintain spray guns and equipment, operate hand tools, and work independently while complying with safety and quality rules.

Qualifications

• Must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods.
• Regular attendance and daily punctuality.
• Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment with quality rules.
• Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane.
• 3+ years of painting with a spray gun.
• Familiar with hand tools including grinder and sander.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Requirements

• Must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes standing, kneeling, lifting, bending, and using your hands and working with various materials.
• Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary
• Ability to work overtime when needed and occasional weekends required
• Extremely detailed orientated
• Able to maintain a safe and clean work environment while complying with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
• Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane
• 3+ years of painting experience using a spray gun
• Familiar with and previous use of hand tools including grinder, sander, etc.
• Ability to work independently without supervision

Second shift hours: M-Th 3pm-1:30 am
