Washington Mills in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Millwright (full-time, hourly) on 2nd shift. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining plant equipment, with a pay rate of $36.05 per hour and overtime available.

Responsibilities include installation, diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance of machinery, with emphasis on safe practices and teamwork in a dynamic, process-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Experience repairing industrial machinery, furnaces, conveyors.
• Welding test may be required; AWS certification acceptable.
• Strong safety mindset and OSHA/site safety compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Repair, adjust, service, overhaul and install plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment; suggest reliability improvements.
• Perform preventative and proactive maintenance with minimal downtime.
• Work from ladders; operate scissor/man lifts; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Use drills, grinders, welders, torches and hand tools safely.
