Job summary

Landscape Structures Inc. in Delano, MN is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift to perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair production equipment and facility systems.

Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday–Friday. You will log activities, participate in safety and continuous improvement, and collaborate with teams and vendors. Qualified candidates have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and can lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of industrial maintenance systems and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and perform repairs independently or with a team.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as pumps, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, bearings, chains/belts.
• Familiarity with electrical control components (breakers, relays, switches).
• Basic understanding of plumbing; PLC-controlled systems preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts/scissor lifts, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety compliance: follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Preventative maintenance: perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and repairs: diagnose and repair production equipment and infrastructure systems.
• Root-cause analysis: conduct analysis on machine failures to implement corrective actions.
• Documentation: log maintenance activities, repairs, and preventative measures.
• Communication: inform team members and other departments about equipment status and maintenance needs.
• Continuous improvement: participate in initiatives to enhance process efficiency.
• Collaboration: work with internal departments and external vendors.
• Training: engage in ongoing training to develop technical skills.
• Teamwork: work individually or as part of a team to complete tasks.
• Blood-borne pathogen response: respond to clean-up as needed.
